Sounion 3D

Cape Sounion is located in the southernmost part of the region of Attica, about 55km from Athens. The area was from early on considered to be of strategic importance as it controlled the passage of ships from Athens to the Aegean.
The cape consists of steep cliffs rising 60m above the sea. On top of the hill stands the imposing temple of Poseidon, god of the sea.
